Shopping for Yourself
Online shopping has taken off in a big way, with the convenience of being able to order a new cell phone while lying in bed or reserving the latest laptop before it even comes out in store. There are a number or pros and cons for both online and in-store shopping.
With online ordering you get the benefit of being able to compare prices form numerous different stores at the click of a mouse, and online e-tailers are often able to offer cheaper prices due to lower overheads. And of course the added bonus of not having to lug large items home.
However there is still a lot to be said for going into a store and trying out different merchandise, from a video camera to the latest electronic gadgets, and being able to talk to a sales person with regards to which is the right product for you. While not as practical as shopping online, many people still prefer to have a wander round a shopping mall on a Saturday afternoon and really get a feel for the products on offer.
